The following terms and conditions of use (“Terms of Use”) govern the standard and mobile versions of this website (the “Site”). The Terms of Use also govern your creation of an account on the Site; your online purchases from us; your subscriptions to mailing lists, newsletters, and wine club programs; registration for our promotions; and engagement with one of our brand pages on community/social websites and services such as Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, or Instagram (“collectively, Brand Pages”).

Throughout these Terms of Use, the terms “we”, “us,” “our,” and the “Company” refer to Christopher Michael Wines, LLC.

We advise you to read these Terms of Use prior to every use of or purchase from the Site. Your use of the Site or purchase of any product or service from us constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use by you and any organization you represent. We also advise you to read our Privacy Policy and any additional terms that govern our other products, services, or offerings, as well as other legal notices, terms, and policies on this Site, all of which are expressly incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference.

We reserve the right to modify the Site and the Terms of Use at any time with or without notice to you, so be sure to check back and review these Terms of Use regularly. If you do not accept these Terms of Use and any amendments to them, please do not use the Site.

Age Restriction

To use the Site, you must be 21 years of age or older. If you are not of legal drinking age, please exit the Site.

Accurate and Truthful Information

By accessing and using the Site and its features, you represent and warrant that (a) all information you submit is truthful and accurate; (b) you will maintain the accuracy of such information; (c) you are 21 years of age or older; and (d) your use of the Site and its features does not violate any applicable law, rule, or regulation.

Site Account and Registration

If you register an account on the Site and/or subscribe to a newsletter or other electronically transmitted update, we may require you to create an account username and password to make purchases, subscribe to newsletters or other services, or use certain features on the Site.

To register or create an account, you must provide truthful and accurate information. Do not impersonate anyone else when you create your account. If your registration information changes at any time, you agree to update your account to reflect those changes. 

You may not share your account with anyone else. Please keep your account password confidential and try not to use the same password on other websites. You are solely responsible for all activities, including payments, that occur using your account. If you believe that your account has been compromised at any time, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all actions that take place within your account.

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor any accounts and/or activities conducted through or related to the Site. We may also deactivate, terminate or suspend your account or access to the Site or certain services at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, the following: (1) a violation of the Terms of Use; (2) if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have created a risk or possible legal exposure for the Company or a third party; (3) upon any discontinuation of material modification to our Site; (4) unexpected technical security issues or problems; (5) deletion of your information, files, and content associated with your account because of a request by you; (6) nonpayment of amounts owed by you; or (7) extended periods of inactivity. Any termination or suspension of your account shall be at our sole discretion, and we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any suspension or termination of your account or access to the Site.

Online Store

Our website store and online e-commerce platform are hosted and administered by Shopify Inc. (“Shopify”). Shopify’s e-commerce platform allows us to sell our products and services to you online. You should also familiarize yourself with Shopify’s privacy practices, including how it collects, shares, and handles consumers’ information, please read Shopify’s discussion of its privacy policies and practices, “Privacy for Customers: For customers that shop at Shopify-powered stores.”

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you agree to read and comply with Shopify’s terms and conditions of use for their e-commerce platform, and you represent that you are at least of drinking age in your state of residence. 

Wines may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. By placing an order on the Site, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and the person to whom delivery will be made will be available to sign for the delivery and is at least 21 years old.

All payments related to purchases made from your account must be made from a payment method on which you are the named account holder. You agree that we will not be liable for any loss caused by any unauthorized use of your payment card or any other method of payment by Shopify or another third party. Any attempt to defraud the Company using payment cards or other payment methods will result in immediate termination of your account and, potentially, civil and/or criminal prosecution. In the case of suspected or fraudulent payment, including use of stolen credentials, by anyone, or any other fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to block your account. We are entitled to inform relevant authorities or entities (including credit reference agencies) of any payment fraud or other unlawful activity, and we may employ collection services to recover payments. 

If applicable, to redeem a discount or coupon code, you must enter the applicable code before you make your payment. Discount and coupon codes cannot be applied after payment is made or combined with any other promotion, exchanged, refunded, or redeemed for cash. It is your responsibility to use a discount or coupon code before it expires. The terms and conditions of a specific discount or coupon code may include additional restrictions on its use.

Prices for our products and services are subject to change without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of a product or service. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order you place with us. We also reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the Site is inaccurate at any time (including after you have submitted your order).

To mitigate the risk of your wine sitting in an uncontrolled temperature warehouse for an extended period, all orders placed Monday - Wednesday, by 3pm PST will be shipped same or next day. Orders placed from Wednesday after 3pm – Sunday will ship the following Monday.

Returns/Exchanges/Gifts

If you are not satisfied with wine purchased directly from the Site’s online store, please contact us immediately (info@unionwinecompany.com or 971-322-4791), and we will work with you to exchange or refund your purchase.

To complete any exchange or return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please note that we are only able to offer exchanges or refunds for wine purchased directly through our Site. We are not able to offer exchanges or refunds for wine purchased at a third-party retailer or other website.

Return Shipping:   If your exchange or return requires that you ship your purchase back to us, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund for a return, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund. Returns may be shipped back to us at 19550 Cipole Road, Tualatin, OR 97062. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds (if applicable): If it is deemed that your purchase requires a refund, we will notify you, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain amount of days based on the payment processor’s operations.

Gifts: If you received a gift shipped directly to you from us and are not satisfied with it, please contact us (info@unionwinecompany.com or 971-322-4791) so that we may determine if an exchange or gift credit is appropriate.

Limitations on Use of the Site

The Site is available for your personal, noncommercial use. By accessing the Site, you agree not to or attempt to: (i) use the Site in a way that violates any laws, infringes anyone’s rights, or is offensive; (ii) interfere with the function or feature of the Site (including measures we employ to enforce these Terms of Use); (ii) circumvent security features of the Site; (iii) unauthorized access to the Site or its associated computer systems or networks; (iv) upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code on or to the Site; (v) to collect or track the personal information of others; or (vi) to spam, phish, spider, crawl, or scrape the Site.

If we (in our sole discretion) determine that you have acted inappropriately, we reserve the right to terminate your account and access to the Site and take appropriate legal action. Using the Site does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights to content on the Site. You may not use content from the Site unless you obtain prior written permission from us, or unless you are otherwise permitted to do so by law.

Copyrights, Trademarks, and Other Intellectual Property Rights

The content of the Site, including designs, logos, text, images, audio and video materials, software, graphics, and all copyrights, trademarks, services marks, trade names, logos, and other intellectual property (collectively, “IP”) belong to the Company or are licensed by us from third parties. Subject to your compliance with the Terms of Use, you have no right to use, copy, reproduce, display, or distribute the IP.  Any use or reproduction of the IP other than for private, non-commercial purposes without our express prior written consent is prohibited. All rights not granted in these Terms of Use are expressly reserved by us.

We make no warranty as to the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content on or made available through the Site. Any reliance on the content of the Site is at your own risk. The Site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of the Site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to the Site

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

If you believe any content on the Site infringes your copyrights or applicable law, the following are requirements for submitting DMCA notices of infringement to our Designated Agent:

  1. A signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the intellectual property owner whose right has been allegedly infringed upon. Signatures may be provided electronically by typing your name.
  2. Identification in sufficient detail of the work allegedly infringed upon.
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material on our Site, including the specific location of the material so that we can find it.
  4. The name of the intellectual property owner and contact information for the notifier, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that the notifier has a good faith belief that the material is not authorized by the intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information provided in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the notifier is authorized to make the complaint on behalf of the copyright owner.

If you misrepresent that material is infringing, you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees). Therefore, if you are not sure whether the material is infringing, please contact an attorney before submitting a notice to us. Fraudulent or abusive notices violate the Terms of Use and may also result in legal consequences.

Social Features

The Site may include features that operate in conjunction with certain third-party social networking websites and services that you visit and use, such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter (“Social Network Features”). While your use of the Social Network Features is governed by these Terms of Use, your access to and use of Social Network Features is governed by the terms posted on the Social Networks’ own websites, mobile applications, and their other platforms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of third-party social networking services complies with any applicable terms of service and other agreements. You are also responsible for making all arrangements necessary to access the Site, including a suitable device, internet access, and/or data service.

General Terms and Conditions

The Site and all products and services delivered to you through and by it are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties of merchantability, quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, and non-infringement.

We reserve the right to refuse access to the Site and other services service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over networks we do not own or control; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.


These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon in the United States.
