2019 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Regular price $28.00

Red raspberry, lilac & thyme

A blend of predominately Eola-Amity Hills vineyards.

After a string of vintages with above-average temperatures, 2019 was a return to a cooler and wetter year. Although the growing season started off on the warm side, we experienced a mild and wetter than average summer. The mild temps allowed for long hang time and lower sugar accumulation. We had a compressed harvest with a number of rain showers that had us picking as much as we could during the dry windows between storms.

The wines are looking good with low alcohols, vibrant acidity, beautiful aromatics, and great transparency.

Why choose us?

A Storied Vineyard

What makes Amity so unique are the nearly 50-year-old own-rooted vines. They’ve had decades to work through the thin topsoil to dig deep into the ground and access these ancient nutrient-deprived soils. The combination of the vine's age, the absence of artificial inputs, and dry farming practices mean they are naturally low yielding. When vines have a lower crop load they can devote more resources to the grapes which leads to a better concentration of flavor.
